Bitcoins Only

We regret to inform you that our bitcoin engine (formerly introduced to us by Swish) is no longer active.  Due to our inability to communicate with their customer service team, we have decided it would be in everyone's best interest that we move on.

However, we are still capable of accepting bitcoins in the Link below, so if you wish to send us coins in exchange for hemp, feel free to do so by clicking on the QR code below (the boxy black and white maze-look-alike image below).

The search continues for the next bitcoin merchant -- so, if you are aware of one, please let us know.

Congratulations!  Due to the recent abandonment from Coinbase and Bitpay for their bans on Industrial Hemp, we have recently swapped over to the latest and greatest Hemp Merchant, 1620Solutions.

Thank you Veronica for your diligence in setting up our new Bitcoin merchant account!

To purchase, CLICK or SCAN the QR code below to open our new Merchant window.

Due to the recent prejudices displayed by some bitcoin merchants, we are no longer accepting bitcoins through Bitpay, Coinbase, and GoCoin.

We were denied on the following basis:

Thank you for your interest in BitPay. We are unable to service the cannabis industry at this time.
While we are aware that the legalization of marijuana is growing on a individual state level and throughout the world - and may be legal to sell where you are located, BitPay adheres to Federal U.S. laws and regulations when conducting business. The Drug Enforcement Agency considers marijuana a scheduled drug under the Controlled Substances Act. Further, CBD and its extracts are considered marijuana and thus regulated under the CSA, as confirmed in a December 2016 publication from the DEA. Selling any scheduled drug, including any cannabis-derived products, also violates our Terms of Use.
BitPay is unable to service merchants selling marijuana, CBD extracts, or any other cannabis-derived products. Note: This includes all products from the Cannabisgenus, including hemp-derived CBD extracts under 0.3% THC.
Please note that BitPay does not take a political position on this matter. In the event that Federal laws regarding marijuana and other derived products change in the future, and BitPay's policy is updated accordingly, we will be able to reconsider servicing these businesses.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
Best regards,

This is only the beginning.  Rest assure that we will find other means of accepting bitcoins.

The Hemp Coop

Our apologies for the inconvenience, but only bitcoins are currently accepted.

If you do not know what a bitcoin, or cryptocurrency, is, then you may begin with the video below.

 Why Refuse CASH?

Bitcoin trends as the most popular currency (heralded as organic and grass-rooted) due to its natural pairing with a digital-trending society.   Conversely, cash continues to devalue as the world's centralized banking system prints money to bail out failing companies and quick-fix policies.

Fiat Money is No Longer backed by Gold

Another reason why the current economy is failing is due to the abandonment of the Gold standard, removing Gold as a collateral for your money.   Unfortunately, the more money is printed to bail out failed businesses and corporations, the less worth your dollar carries.

We Love the Cycles of Opposites

Tangible Assets (GOLD) vs Intangible Assets (BITCOIN)

Gold is deemed precious in that it serves as a great conductor for electrical purposes.  In other words, its level of electric conductibility is much more efficient than traditional metals (aluminum & iron); and is a powerful resource for technology-, computing-, and digital-oriented industries.

Bitcoin serves the world in a cryptographic sense.  Its written code (programming platform) reigns as the greatest in terms of digital security (due to transparent features and distributed responsibility) and is regarded as one of the most revolutionary inventions of the 20th century.

Centralization vs Decentralization

Although intangible, bitcoin's true value comes from its decentralized nature where participants autonomously validate transactions (with an array of check and balance system infinitely more powerful than current banking security).  The transfer of responsibilities (or work) goes from banks to the bitcoin network, and thus the transfer of wealth.  Best yet, it takes +50% of the world's computing power to overtake bitcoin (millions of users), comparatively, it only takes a single hacker to break into the world's banking system.

The Downside of Bitcoins

1) High barrier to entry.  (Can be confusing for those unfamiliar with how banks operate.)

2) No protection from Central authority. (Protection is provided by private companies, like you and I, and more jobs to citizens and less to bankers.)

3) Seemingly Volatile fluctuation.  (I don't advise any non-traders to trade.  To benefit from bitcoins, educating others and also keeping a long-term portfolio is our best advice.)

 THC's Bitcoin Timeline

2010 -- There were rumors that Bitcoins powered the Darknet where drugs (aka. healing medicines) were bartered among those misconstrued as villainous misfits and bloodsucking (kind of similar to the way blacks were treated back in the 50's). Being that our team were enlightened in the arts of Contrast, we immediately saw an opportunity to invest.  Price of each bitcoin was at around 50 cents.

2011 -- I was again told I could purchase DMT (Dimethyltryptamine, also known as the Spirit Molecule) underground, once again, with Bitcoins.  A currency meant to keep transactions private and anonymous.  I soon brought the attention of DMT, and Bitcoins, to the Southern California community with a substantial order.

2011 -- $2.67 was the price I had my eyes set on with my first Bitcoin purchase, all the way from Japan.

Late 2013 -- Bitcoins climbed well above $500.  With a near 200x valuation increase, we subsequently started TheHempCoop to further communities awareness as to the alternative form of living:  Bitcoin and Hemp.

2013-2016 -- Stabilization in Bitcoin and the Blockchain proven successful admist many doubters.  By the end of 2016, Bitcoin garnered value of +$2,000, and also the attention of every big name investors worldwide.

Present 2017 -- Bitcoin is now sitting at +$5,500 per coin. Although incredibly late in the game, figureheads, including Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Jeff Besos, and also Richard Branson, eventually got in on supporting this powerful decentralization technology.

And til this day, our company is still educating our immediate network on the lessons of Contrast (Yin Yang), hemp & marijuana, and all alternative life choices (ie bitcoins).

Today, we are the first global web retailer to exclusively accept bitcoins.
